Hunger 5K

The Zanesville (Noon) Rotary Club is hosting our first annual 5K Run/Walk on June 3, at OUZ/Zane State College & Muskingum Recreational Center. Proceeds from the event will support the “Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds.” In 2017, Rotary packed 150 ten pound bags filled with food for low income children to take home prior to the four-day Easter Holiday weekend. In 2018, we will be expanding the program to three additional schools.

Spreading Holiday Cheer

Santa Claus and the Rotary Choir brightened the holiday season for all of the Zanesville Health and Rehab residents on Thursday. Santa was a big hit, as he attended a cookies and caroling party, then went room to room and visited residents that couldn’t make the party. This is the fourth year that Noon Rotarians have held the event. Local businesses Economy Linen and General Graphics put the gift bags together that were greatly appreciated by the residents. Many of the Rotarians involved commented on how priceless the smiles of the residents were! Rotary members Stacy Clapper, Larry Snode and Jim Buchbinder pictured, along with future(?) Rotarians Cindy Lawyer and Kelly Saliba. Deanna Mox, Megan Guthrie and Jeff Hardwick also joined in the fun.
